Living with a Burmese is like being possessed by the Cheshire Cat. You have just settled down to read for a few moments without a cat in sight. As you finish the first paragraph you become aware of a slight rumbling and realize the pleasant sensation of warmth comes from the muscular little body snuggled happily in your lap. The cat just materialized there! Matching you personality to that of a breed of cat is an important step in selecting a satisfactory feline companion. Few cats offer the range of pleasure supplied by the intelligent and inquisitive Burmese. Like the Siamese they have quite a vocabulary, but do not usually offer comments unless spoken to. Burmese kittens seem to be in perpetual motion, but even at a young age they appreciate the luxury of a good lap and will open a reproachful eye if you disturb their dreams by moving. (Ultimate Lap Cat: The Burmese, Cat Fancy Magazine, April 1997)

I found this article in the magazine and knew it had to be from someone who had spent time with Burmese cats and Kittens. The Burmese is an affectionate velcro cat with a motor that never stops.  They are  playfull cats their whole lives always looking for things to attack and play with.  They have even been known to play fetch, although they sometimes find it difficult to teach their owners this game!!  Your Burmese is a constant companion that will greet you at the door when you come home, follow you around the house, sit on your lap to watch television and crawl into bed with you at night (usually under the blankets).  They are also your official cupboard inspectors.  Any door that is opened they will go through, whether it is your linen closet, dresser drawer, or kitchen cupboard.  All will be inspected thoroughly.  If you would like a constant companion the Burmese may be the cat for you.  You only have to see one to fall in love!  Warning...Burmese cats are addictive and will usually result in future purchases, because the only thing more fun than one Burmese is two!

My kittens are all raised loose in my home, never caged.  They get to play with our dog and children.  I raise them all as part of my family, including sleeping with us at night!! I offer a health and temperament guarantee, and all my babies are vaccinated before 12 weeks of age. They are also trained to use a scratching post and to have their claws clipped on a regular basis.
